Yuehai Zhongyue (Zhongshan) tinplate Industry Co., Ltd. (formerly known as Zhongshan Zhongyue tinplate Industry Co., Ltd., hereinafter referred to as the company) was established in June 1989. It is a Hong Kong listed company Yuehai Guangnan controlled by Yuehai group under Guangdong SASAC (Group) Co., Ltd. is a wholly foreign-owned enterprise invested in Zhongshan City. The company is located at No. 25, Yanjiang East 1st Road, Torch Development Zone, Zhongshan City, covering an area of 262573.8 square meters, with a total investment of 177 million US dollars and fixed assets of 865 million yuan. It mainly produces and operates electroplated tin sheet steel and electroplated chromium sheet steel (including cutting of steel plate and coil), processing and producing coated iron, coated iron, printed iron (including printing process) and tinplate base plate (cold rolled steel sheet). The products are widely used as metal packaging materials in food, light industry and chemical industry. They are sold to nearly 400 enterprises in China and exported to Europe, America, Oceania, the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
The company is a high-tech enterprise in Guangdong Province, a provincial top 500 enterprise, a strong and excellent enterprise and civilized unit in Zhongshan City. From 1996 to 2014, it successively passed ISO9001 quality system, ISO14001 environmental management system, iso45001 occupational health and safety management system, iso50001 energy management system and fssc22000 food safety system certification. The company's electroplated tin sheet and electroplated chromium sheet products won the third prize of Guangdong science and technology and the title of Guangdong famous brand products. Low chromium tinplate and electroplated chromium sheet products filled the gap in domestic production and obtained national invention patents. In 2006, the company's products won the honorary title of "China Packaging famous brand products", and the "gdtp" trademark was recognized as the "famous trademark of Guangdong Province".
At present, the company has 21 patents, including 3 invention patents, 17 utility model patents and 1 appearance patent.
